ACS Strategic Marketing Intern


ACS Marketing is searching for an Intern to work closely with the Strategic Marketing Manager across ACS business units and markets. Honeywell ACS is undergoing a major business transformation in a challenging and dynamic business environment. The ACS Strategic Marketing Intern will be directly part of and supporting this transformation.


The successful candidate will interact at different levels across the marketing organization, as well as with the ACS business units to support the transformation. He/she is a broad-based business thinker with special focus on quantitative skills, who can collaborate effectively with other business functions.




  • Support Strategic Marketing with market analyses and insight to devise strategic plans that enable businesses to grow faster than their markets
  • Providing input to the preparation of senior level strategic decisions
  • Support the vital Honeywell Strategic Planning Process (STRAP)
  • Prepare business cases based on expected value creation coming from the market opportunities
  • Support portfolio analysis and assessment to identify revenue and growth plans by market segment

  • Ethics: Highest level of professional integrity and honesty as well as personal credibility


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Minimum level of education is a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, with a Masters in business preferred
  • Sales experience in both Refining & Petrochemical catalyst areas
  • Product and technology knowledge in Refining & Petrochemical at a minimum. Proven Sales and coaching/ mentoring skills. A strong understanding of UOP's legal agreements. A working knowledge of the PT&E and GPH business areas
  • Good organizational and communication skills. Proven ability to work within various levels of a clients organization
